Pretty much most people I know, If they are an artist have had a version of this spam/scam email. I've had it it land in my spam folder at least six times. Sometimes the name attached to it changes, sometimes the salutation. Aways there are spelling mistakes. In honour of these artful scammers, or perhaps just in need of venting my frustration, I've spent the afternoon engraving a selection of these emails. I've preserved spelling mistakes and lack of grammar for posterity and names have not been changed as there is no one innocent to protect. Lets be honest, Steve Leavitt does not exist and if anyone out there goes by the single name of "Senior" they are more likely to be a taxi driver than an art collector...
